They did a very good job explaining positive and negative effects of nuclear weaponry. They talked about the the unstable nuclei that causes radioisotopes to exist. The rap was unique and explained the negative health effects of nuclear warfare, like cancer, loss of blood cells, and other long term effects. Senator Oscarlece pointed out the positives of nuclear warfare. The threat of nuclear weaponry may save thousands of lives without even using the technology. The group seems to present a better argument for the elimination of nuclear weapons than the continuation of their usage.

While this group did not specifically state which radioisotopes are used in Nuclear Weapons, overall, the information was quite detailed. The defense argument stated that since countries know that the United States has nuclear weapons, they will be less likely to attack us. The prosecution included the hazardous health affects that come with with Nuclear weapons, such as luekemia, and other forms of cancer. In this video, I felt that the prosecution made a better argument, and made more sense

The group explains the nature of nuclear isotopes, but doesn't say why it makes their technology possible.
Positives were the possibility that due to the destructive capabilities of nuclear weapons, countries will be less likely to start wars.
The negatives included a large list of health risks, as well as massive loss of life and the possibility of a nuclear winter.
The negatives seemed to me the most convincing.

This group did explain the nature of radioisotopes but did not address the unique nature of radioisotopes that allows nuclear weapons to exist. The group listed several positives to nuclear weaponry. Nuclear weapons could save thousands of lives, even without using them. The Japanese surrendered in World War II after two atomic bombs were dropped on their country, saving thousands of American lives. Since other nations around the world know that the US has nuclear weapons, they will be less likely to attack us. However, the negative effects of nuclear weaponry outnumbered the positive effects. Some arguments used in the prosecution of nuclear weapons included development of leukemia and other forms of cancer and possible mass extinction, resulting from a nuclear winter. The arguments in prosecution of nuclear weapons made more sense to me, as hazardous health effects seem to be a significant downside to the continued use of nuclear weapons.

This group explained what an radioisotope is, but did not clearly state how it is used in nuclear weapons. The defense argument included that nations could be brought to peace if they are at war with a nuclear power. It also said that the threat of nuclear war would stop some countries from fighting. The prosecution argument included that millions are spent on these deadly weapons and that they can result in many differnet and dangerous diseases. Also the possiblity of the extinction of life could occur if these are continued. I feel that the prosecution argument makes more sense to me because two nuclear powers at war could destroy each other if neither backed down.

The group did address the unique nature of a radioisotope that allows the technology to exist but not which ones specifically used in Nuclear Weapons.
The defense was not as strong as the prosecution as they said it was the fear that a nation is in possession of the nuclear weapons that foreign nations would not attack.
The prosecution was strong because of the many health effects they radiated. Examples of effects of nuclear weapons include diseases like cancer (luekemia) and longterm effects.
The prosection made more sense to me. 567342

This group explained the use of the radioisotope in nuclear weapons, but doesn't exactly say what isotope is in them.
The defense sates that nuclear weapons are used to give the side that is using them an upper edge in war.
The prosecution side helps to explain the devastating effects of the use of nuclear weapons, ultimately causing mass destruction and harmful side effects to the people that it was used on.
Overall, the use of nuclear weapons is harmful to people and shouldn't be used unless in extreme circumstances.

I think this group did really good in finding information on nuclear weapons. They came up with examples and many facts. The said that trillions of dollars are spent and things may go wrong that aren't expected. Cancer, birth defects, burns from heat, and fires are formed as results from the radiation. It can result in the extinction of life. I believe the cons were far more outnumbered then the pros. This group convinced me that nuclear weapons are not good. I didn't really learn too much more then what I already knew about Nuclear weapons.

I believe the group did a great job of telling us the negative side of radioisotope, however the posotive side of the argument was good, but not as strong.
The pros of nuclear warefare are that only seven countries in the world have capability to nuclear warfare.
The cons of nuclear warfare are that its cost a large sum of money, heatwaves, sickness, birht defects, and cancer. There also is a risk of having a nuclear winter, which will end all human life on earth.
I now understand radioisotopes and nuclear warfare. Based on the argument of nuclear warfare, I believe the group made the correct decision in ending nuclear warefare. -628770

This group did not discuss the unique nature of nuclear weapons but they did explain radioisotopes. Radioisotopes are radioactive isotopes with unstable nuclei in which atoms are constantly changing. The rap explained the prosecution of nuclear weapons in that it has harmful radiation with long term and short term effects such as birth defects, leukemia, nausea, vomiting, and a possibility of cancer. In the arguments defense they say that using nuclear weapons was a small price to pay to win a war that could have lasted many more years with a lot more suffering. Based on the given argument, the prosecution of weapons described in the rap made most sense to me. -147813

This group had a greatly informative and entertaining way of telling people about nuclear weapons. The rap explained in a new way the negatives of nuclear weapons, such that it can give people leukemia, other cancers, loss of blood cells, and other health defects. The positives are discussed by Senator Ocarleece. She states that other countries aware of the fact that we have nuclear weapons keeps us from being attacked. However, due to the loss of live that nuclear weapons have brought (in times such as the atomic bomb) and have the potential to bring i side with the prosecution.
